“Tearfallen” is a fast-paced online action rogue-like set in a Pantheonpunk universe. Embark on semi-procedurally generated expeditions, navigating a world where cooperation and strategy unite players against divine intrigue. Your adventure awaits—join us and shape the saga of Tearfallen.

As our game developer, you will be working in a team solving challenging problems using C++. You will be developing features and systems alongside our artists that fundamentally shape the product. Our developers have a high level of ownership over their work and its important that you can plan and manage your work efficiently. As an experienced developer, we expect you to effectively solve problems and provide support to other programmers on the team.

How you will make an impact

  • Build and maintain well-engineered C++ code with high levels of stability and performance
  • Implement gameplay mechanics, and tools supporting cross-team development and collaboration
  • Promote consistent best practices, processes, and procedures for software development, quality assurance, and maintenance
  • Participate in building and scaling high-load distributed systems
  • Solve engineering challenges, from designing and building new systems from scratch to optimizing features to be both performant and extendable
  • Collaborate daily with other team members

Your Character Build

  • Strong software engineer with experience using C++, C# or Java
  • Experience with programming multi-threaded, real-time applications and dealing with memory management, networking and debugging
  • Mindset of producing performant and optimized code
  • Openness to working with both compiled languages in our stack (C++, Rust), as well as Blueprints and Lua scripts
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred)
  • Video game enthusiast with a keen interest in game development
