As our Concept Artist, you’ll bring our game design vision to life through captivating sketches and designs, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Collaborating to meet artistic goals within project timelines, you’ll foresee and address technical challenges crucial for seamless integration and alignment with the creative vision. Your contribution will be vital in achieving aesthetic excellence and elevating gaming experiences.

How you will make an impact

  • Sketch, draw and design VFX concepts making the vision of the game design more tangible
  • Create and iterate unique and stunning designs within a determined production schedule
  • Make any necessary iterations to ensure that the concepts are aligned with the artistic vision
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to achieve aesthetic excellence
  • Anticipate and communicate technical challenges with the team

Your Character Build

  • 2+ years of experience as a concept artist in game development, preferably with a focus on VFX
  • Ability to work within gameplay design restraints and translate those restrictions into visuals that enhance the experience
  • Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and/or other digital art software
  • Proficient with animation and motion graphics tools and features, such as After Effects, Adobe Animate or Clip Studio Paint is a bonus
  • Solid 2D drawing skills and extensive visual library
  • Strong artistic fundamentals in composition, color theory, and perspective
  • Video game enthusiast
  • Focused on learning, collaboration, and growth

Primorden uses a vibrant 2D art style. Everything in our game is carefully illustrated, from the monsters, the environment, and the VFX.
